4. Book a test and go hotel? (i'm not very sure what this means or how long must i stay there for)

You got most of it right but I can help sort the order. This is for incoming.. can’t be bothered about outgoing yet.

1) Book flight
2) book accommodation using asq site - best way to get a test and go. Has hotel+airport transfer+Pcr rest packages. ASQ site also has travel insurance but I have a year long insurance one so I got it online
3) Use the above info (flight, hotel and insurance) and apply for Thai air pass. They also need SG vaccination certificate with QR code on it. (Available online)
4) Wait for approval (mine took 5 days)
6) Do PCR test 72 hours before
7) Print paper copies of all documents above (including Thai airpass approval)
8) Fly
9) if you fly to Phuket, airport transfer and on arrival test (2200 THB) is not covered in asq package so need to purchase on the spot or in advance:
10) on arrival test results clear in about 6-8 hours after which you can leave the airport

Pls remember to have all required documents covert to jpeg format first before applying for thai pass.
You can search in Agoda website for SHA+ certified hotels/serviced apartment (Test & Go Package 1 Day - they include on arrival 1 way transport to PCR test & then to the hotel stay).
Please make sure that the hotel you booking from 3rd party website includes the PCR test & limo pick up service. It's written in their package whether include not.
After PCR test, you need to wait till your test results is negative first before you are allow to roam freely. Normally is next day morning then you get to know the results.
However, there are also expedited PCR test(within hours result are out) but come @ extra costs.
You can search & book from the hotel directly for the T & G package provided they are SHA+ certified.

Hope it helps.

For the first day only, you need to book a SHA+ certified hotel with PCR test & limo pick up. Wait till the results out negative & you are free to roam freely.

Re: Living in Bangkok!

I actually have plans to retire in thailand.
My plan is like this:
Save up enough and invest to get passive income. I'm aiming RM100k year passive income.
Live my thai gf's house. She has a house in another province to the west of bkk.
I wonder if 100k a year is enough for a couple to retire. No shopping of non essential stuff, no paying to fuck other girls everyday (probably once a week?). Upkeep for car + upkeep for house (assume no loans to pay).
How about 4100k a yr in BKK is it enough? Need to factor in rental for apartment though. We do not plan to have any children, but may choose to adopt later and have to fund their education in thailand.
I'm planning this 15 yrs in advance. All figures here are present valued so no need take inflation into account.
Any advise?

3. Immigration counter.

Actual admin process in all took less than 10 mins. Most of my time was spent walking to the checkpoints.

Hotel transfer was waiting right outside the customs exit for me and I was in the car within minutes. I'm in the car typing this about an hour after I landed. Traffic is unusually smooth.

I'm quite impressed with the uncharacteristic Thai efficiency. If all your documents are in order you should not experience problems. Ensure you have print and digital copies of everything to be safe.

In my room now after taking the PCR test. Staff said results are usually emailed to guests about 8 hrs after the test. Searching thru sm oo ci now lol
How was your sm oo ci (sc) experience bro? been preparing for my Jan trip and checking on sc, seems like the good ones (pre-covid) and FL are all offline now, checked out a past FL line contact from sc and realized that she started a blogshop to sell clothes

Been looking at fanfin and seems like pretty good stuff but too bad all in thai

Any bro tried before and care to share? thanks in advance

I did translate using google but don’t think they did an accurate one. It keeps mentioning “sideline children” - make me sound like a paedophile.

anyway my main question is whether any bro who tried the site and could share a review whether how much does the real person differs from the pictures- some are really too good to be true. overall sm oo ci for me was good - i say 70-80% similar to photo and paid premium allows you to access FR which are really helpful to decide.

It's because that's the literal translation.

Sideline: It's not their full-time day job, or at least they aren't sitting in a whorehouse everyday. (Instead they sit in an apartment/hotel room everyday.) With COVID though, I feel like this has lost quite a bit of meaning.

Children: เด็ก or den literally means children. However, this is usually in reference to working girls. Similar to 小姐 in Singapore.

I've tried the website a few times and I'd say... Generally the body shape is about there, skin tone is usually quite hit and miss, although usually miss. Sometimes complexion is off also.

I'd still say it's worth it for the price and the service standards at the very least.
