The vaccine may not work in real world as it was developed based on the original strain. Virus mutates and has mutated into several infectious strains.

regarding the point of view of not 100% effective, but why still a lot of people want to vaccinate? is a mindset of if vaccinate still have 95% effective, if dun vaccinate will be maybe 0% effective. so since is 95% effective, most people would wan go vaccinate n hope will be in the 95% effective grp. i maybe wrong. is just own point of view.

Don't see others blaming China. The fact is, China locked down its domestic travel during the Wuhan virus outbreak but still encourage international travel. By exporting millions of infected people to various countries, China started the Wuhan virus pandemic.

For those who says efficacy of vaccine doesn't matter. Please understand the fact that while its not a cure, its something that helps lower infection rates not just death or serious illness. The world is now looking beyond P3 data. Using 50% LOW efficacy vaccine vs using 95% HIGH efficacy have real world impact.

If a vaccine can prevent symptomatic infection only then its overall protection is low. Asymptomatic cases are people who carry the virus going around spreading and mutating it. Obviously in China, asymptomatic case are not counted.

One have to understand getting infected and getting sick is not same. 5555 You can get infected by Wuhan virus without showing signs of sickness.

For those who chiong FL, ask yourself this golden question.

Do you want get infected with STD/HIV without knowing it? Then you spread your STD/HIV to gf/wife/family members?
Or you prefer to have symptoms once infected so you can seek immediate medical attention, take medications to cure it so as to avoid spreading to your gf/wife/family members.

Its a choice of protecting yourself from getting INFECTED or just getting SICK.

Options

1. Infected + sick
2. Infected + no sick
3. Not infected = no sick

So efficacy and effectiveness of the vaccine still same? Think about it.

An old friend took his at Changi airport last mth. He said is ang mo lady who gave him the shot. Not sure whether nurse or doctor. I guess to receive better service need to travel far. I mean the vaccination ctr.

By the way. All vaccines the same. No silver bullet.
