Walked back to my table and shared with Cass that the man who was looking at our direction earlier was actually G.

I received a message alert on my handphone.

G: Hi J, this is G. Wanna meet for dinner and drinks tomorrow? It’s Friday!

J: Oh ...alright. Can I also bring a friend?

G: Yeah why not? I’ll get my buddy along too.

I came in a dark blue bodycon backback dress, with a pair of strapped black heels.

Our eyes met - G & me. He smiled.

“You’ve become so much more beautiful than before”, he commented.

“Thanks”, replying him with a fake smile as i recalled his lame break up reason. Even though it was so long ago and I’d gotten over it, this was still a bad memory.

G didn’t actually go overseas after our break up. Instead, he was partying every week. Singlehood seemed to be enjoyable for him as he basked in bed of girls.

But I pretended i didn’t know about it.

I noticed G’s friend who was standing next to him, stealing glances at us. But my eyes lighted up as I took a closer look at him. He’s quite presentable and pleasant looking.

“Hello I’m Jacob”, he introduced himself and wanted to shake my hand. Reaching out my right hand, i returned the warm gesture and also introduced Cass to the both of them.

During dinner, G started being a little touchy by using his fingers in circular motion to feel my back while talking. “Your skin’s so smooth,” he whispered into my ears and gave a little nibble.

I was growing uncomfortable that I started fidgeting. And amidst the discomfort, my heels accidentally brushed Jason’s leg under the table.

“Opps”, I bite my lips and gave a shy smile.

“What’s wrong with me?” questioning myself in my head while drinking down the glass of whiskey.

I probably had too many glasses already so I decided to excuse myself to the washroom. By then, I was feeling a little tipsy.

J: Cass, wanna go to the washroom?

Cass: Nope thanks.

G and Cass was now having an conversation, chatting and laughing away while I was in my own state of airy mind.

“You sure?” I asked a second time.

“I need to use the washroom too. I’ll go with you,” Jacob cut in.

The queue to the washroom was quite long so we had to wait. I guess Jacob noticed I was very urgent as I kept tapping my feet up and down. He suddenly grabbed my right hand, and took me out to the back alley.

Without any questions, I just followed.The rate of my heartbeat accelerated. He used a shortcut and brought me to the mall’s washroom. I was trying to clear my head and be more conscious.

“Are you ok? Want to rest a while?” Jacob asked with a tinge of concern.

“Just a little tipsy,” I smiled.

Again, he shocked me by taking my right hand but this time our fingers crossed together. He found a seat at a bench and his hand never left mine. I was definitely in an estacy state with heart pumping from the drinks. We were sitting closely almost in body contact.

“You rest here a while,” Jacob instructed.

“Ok, just a while,” I turned my head to the right and replied.

Our lips brushed with each other.
