I doubt anyone that is not in the IT line know wtf a DNS server is even though it is one of the critical component of the internet.

Just FYI, most DNS trafficis not encrypted, thus opening the door to DNS server hijacks.

So that whatever address you resolve will point to an attacker's server for malicious intents.
