yes exactly true. Last time Sammy was so particular about people "wasting bandwidth" but now you see meaningless posts with heavy data consuming pictures posted over and over and in multiple threads..

Agree. Also, when at Delphi, where got repute points thingy. Repute points started when moved to this forum and even so, I remember no zap free points exchange threads until later. Hard earned points then and had to continue meaningfully.

Now? any newbie or clone can easily chalk up 400+ points in just one to two weeks parking themselves in such zap free threads, without FRs or anything meaningful some more��

Those early days a reputation of 100+ points is already very honourable earned from sharing genuine information and good stories, compared to the thousands of points accumulated by many newbies today without any real "repute":

i remember long ago when getting points means i wrote a FR that people actually read and liked. i never paid much attention to how much points i had, but i remember feeling quite happy when one of the criteria to get a FL contact is "at least 100 points" and i had it lol

nowadays the points are meaningless, i get so many people asking me to exchange points everyday, why???? what for??? you can't redeem the points for ntuc voucher, no one uses points as a "criteria for FL contact" anymore, so no idea whats the points for now

and also.... we got a bit tinted lens lah, last time some samsters are quite rude and hostile also
