Actually i agree with u. I think females should be the one feeling skeptical and wary instead of guys.

I had my 1st meetup with a girl i met online. She was many years younger than me but we went ahead. Met up, had a lunch, paid for it but sadly got ghost-ed.

No danger to guys as nothing much will happen to u except paying for a free meal for the lady. But for females, more exposed to risk as it might be a pervert they r meeting up with/someone wanna who can reach the place early and spike their drink etc etc

Do give him the benefits of doubts. Sometimes work do come up last min especially in the stressful Singapore society. I do cancel on dates due to last min work commitment more than once before, however, I will try to make it up the next meet-up.

But if he really cancel on you again next week, then so be it, move on unless you are really into him.

If not, 'kor kor' can bring you for dinner and drinks. I do appreciate a lady who take the effort to doll up for a date hehe
