You have to be honest with yourself; do you like him or are you feeling your self-worth being attacked due to his disrespect?

What do you have to lose if he bails? Do you really care that much if he disappears from your life?

If you do care, then why?

Ultimately, if you have questioned yourself from different angles and find that the answer is yes, you have somewhat fallen for this guy, be it out of true love or fear of loss, then my suggestion is to be brave and break it off.

I guess this circles back to you both being FBs instead of FWBs. Personally, I prefer the latter as it humanises your partners. For FBs, I’ve found it’s very easy to see your partners as walking onaholes/vibrators, which I feel is too transactional to really be sustainable.

As with any arrangement, setting expectations and drawing lines are key to making things work long term. But I’ve learned that not everybody has that sort of macro outlook; many just wanna fuck and fuck off 😂
