Very true. Tuesday onwards there is little reason to go out, especially if working from home, and with most shop closed. Just tar bao food or exercise a little, walk nearby, that's about it.

Vehicle repairs workshops are essential services and do not have to close during the Circuit Break.

Maybe there'll be roadblocks else no point enforcing restriction of movement, aka CCB. Heard LHL mentioned SG will be segment to NESW, e.g. north can only stay in North.

Not sure how will this work, anyone got insights

I work for a family owned company. My boss is Indonesian and management mostly his family & relatives. My colleagues & myself have been told we will be put on unpaid leave for the duration of the CB. A couple of colleagues who protested were told to resign if they cannot accept the decision. Can he do that?
My boss says our government is giving money to us and told us to go collect from them. Is it true? He will not pay for the government actions.

Can we claim our salary from the government?

Dont think you can claim salary from the government. Your employer no biz, how he pay you salary? This is a very extreme move by our government. They are shutting down all companies except essential services. I think unemployment will spike. Good luck to us all
