I stumbled out of the taxi, held up by my two best friends. We clambered towards the door and rang the doorbell several times, waiting for someone to answer. Finally, my elder sister, Rebecca, opened the gate for me.

“Thank you.” She thanked my friends and slung my right arm over her left shoulder, swiftly carrying me into the house and placing me gently on the sofa.

“Mummy and Daddy told you not to drink, didn’t they?” Rebecca nagged, staring me in the eye.

Without a word, I pulled her into my arms and pressed a kiss to her lips, pushing my tongue into her mouth before being given an elbow to the gut.

“I fainted?” Rebecca glared at Erika wide-eyed. “Ah, I probably didn’t get enough sleep. I’ve been really tired lately.”

“This is not good.” Zoe thought to herself, dashing to the woman lying on a stretcher.

“Miss Lim, other than being tired, have you felt nauseous lately?” Zoe probed.

“Yes, I have. But I haven’t been eating well due to being busy, and in fact my appetite decreased.”

“Take a urine sample.” instructed Zoe.

(I dunno how to continue so timeskip to when they were in the ward)

“What is happening to me?” Rebecca panicked.

“Stay calm.” adviced Fumika. “The doctor will explain to you once she’s here.”

As if on cue, Yui walked into the ward.

“Miss Lim, the results of your urine test are out. You’re two months pregnant.”
