Easy solution is ask yr thai FB to book hotel & u go in later.
Hotel still accepts foreigner.
It isnt yet open, and if u call them, they'll say it will likely be almost another 2 weeks before they will. For sone unknown reason, they don't seem too bothered about it.
I think there was a news yesterday or the day before saying hotels can send request for registration to bring in local guests for staycation. But I guess still need some time before hotels can need booked for short time by the look of increase of local community cases.
Just hope government don't bring lockdown back...

Theres a delay in opening up because hotels are still being used to house front line workers and migrants under quarantine. Hotel not too worried since ah gong paid and book entire hotel.
