Go down to the shop, take a look at the house, take a look at the WL, that will be the truth. 1 star hotel + bakcai. That's all I need to know about your business. I never like to hear OKT talk. I provided a clear photo of a room that costs $2500 per month.

A WL who has 5 customers per day for 20 days is $15,000.

$15,000 - $2500 = $12,500 for the OKT and WL to split. Even if you give the WL $10,000 you still keep $2, 500. This is for ONE WL. The point is not about whether AV cares or how OKTs should split the money with WLs.

The point is there is plenty of rope for the OKT to play in terms of the quality of the rooms and the WLs. But they are offering the bare minimum to both customers and WLs. And their excuse is AV.

In FL, they have many promos. GL OKT can do buy 5 get 1 free too. They just need to pay the $ to the WL and forgo their cut. Small matter. Got customer going to complain he don't need to pay?

I would say that what GL OKTs are offering customers is a rip off and if they are so useless they can't find a way to improve their 1 star room and bakcais then they better find some way to make it more reasonable for customers. It's not about the $ at all. Just a gesture of thanks to the customer for supporting you even though frankly, your product sucks. This kind of customer retention don't offer so be it. Still must listen to them wayang about AV?

When things are done right and your WLs are of a certain quality, you ask the lousy WL to f off because you don't want to risk losing your customer base and you can bring in a better one. But when you are only capable of bringing in crap, you operate differently. GL OKT cannot say take A don't take B because all are crap and they have problems replacing their WLs. LOL

This is from personal experience and observation. I don't listen to GL OKTs BS.

If these clowns were truly in competition, they would have offered customers their own promos a long time ago and try to lock in customers. But they operate like a cartel. All agree to continue screwing WLs and customers and maintain 70/80.

This. Motivating staff is crucial to any business. Any company in open market needs to push staff to hit higher tier. The more business you procure, the bigger percentage you get. Otherwise who wanna work for you? Reward your top performers and 'punish' the non-performers. But for the privileged GL OKT, they have never actually thought wtf they are doing. And now is too late. No WL coming, want to change also no chance. The result of being in deep sleep for decades.

Because the other 7 to 8 WLs are not pulling their weight and you refuse to knock off $20 for customers for those nobody wants to call, you have to milk the top performer dry.

Assuming I went to look for XXX, obviously not free, right? Then you say take YYY la, I knock off $20 for you. This is called give and take. You make a little bit, I get a bit of discount, ok loh. All I can say is that many new customers will be trying FLs during this period when GL close down.

For those GL customers trying out FL for the first time, I'm very confident most will not return to GL150 because the difference in standard is too great. Heaven and hell.

It's going to get very ugly for these sleepy GL150 OKTs when they finally re-open. I won't be surprised another 30% of customers gone forever and transfered to FL. The remaining houses can enjoy the scraps and continue to be cartel. Really, not much ppl will care...except the oldies.

GL does however feel like it has passed its heyday, it has undergone lots of change, from the ML -> PRC, closures of many houses, poor upkeep of houses, and constant rumours of eventual garmen relocation in the pipleline of the houses, and aside from several Ang Pais, in *general* overall service may not be as good as it was 5-6years ago. Sometimes, one does feel that those running the business are squeezing as much as they can out of it as possible, before the whole industry disappears, rather than develop and innovate.

Perhaps new services, and new fetishes can be accommodated.. and inject some lusty lustre of GL; cosplay, Dom, in the light of all the fear of virus, even the simple set up of a Perspex glory hole... where it’s a quick in out without the girl having to be exposed to the client.. I’m sure there are many other cost effective ideas that can be easily implemented.
