I operated freelance. Did it on sbf and locanto on-off. Was lucky. Hence I don't cater to much clients. My damage was anything from $300 - $1000 lol. Think SD was the most reasonable at $2k/mth for 4 meetups ba. That said i think you guys have alotttttt of choices. I'm not the best |

Based on my perspective - I am apparently more valuable because I can talk and discuss business and their issues @ work if needed. I am educated / knowledgeable at a few industries which usually surprises them (lol) because I read up. - I hold no judgement and want to have fun, money is nice but money can't buy everything. I guess thy want something genuine and real instead of faking the moans. - I like sex. There you go! I aint a sugarmommy. Im sugarbaby wannabe |

Re: Ask a retired SB/FL anything 😛
Interesting thread. Can you answer the following questions:
How do you distinguish between sex and love? When you were an FL, I am assuming that you met a lot of different clients. Do you block out all your emotions, and just focus on the physical and the money? Having been with so many different men commercially, can you ever fall in love again or will you feel guilty and unfair to the one that you are seriously dating because of your past? |

Re: Ask a retired SB/FL anything 😛
Hello! If you read the thread I wasn't doing it full time and it was pretty much ad hoc (i shiok, i do, not shiok, dont do).
Also I vet who i go ahead w.. so I'd say the clients i meet would be people i'd be comfortable with at the very least Tbh, I usually head into this or go into a SB/SD after a breakup or when I entirely gave up on r/s as a whole.. Yes, it is possible to fall in love w the guy. No it isn't that easy (for me) to separate out money and physical. Hmmm I'd say for me I've learnt the hard way and try my best to remind myself that the money draws a line, so that means the guy could pretty much go for anyone, and if the guy (eg a long term SD) doesnt want me anymore its totally fine, and move on I think we all have secrets we don't tell to our future partner, and we all evolve w time. I wouldn't want a partner who's so keen on the past and not the present me. I wouldn't question how many ladies he has bed, so neither should he. Quote:

Re: Ask a retired SB/FL anything 😛
not bad the thread run very long anyway not sure anyone ask. But as a ex SB/FL also have you ever so coincidentally meet up a past clients or SD during a formal moment example attending your bf gathering be it home or social.

Re: Ask a retired SB/FL anything 😛
Because I'm as bored as you guys are
I haven't met a SD or past client in a formal setting, but then again my work industry is vastly different previously and the chances are incredibly low. Have you met your FL in a formal setting before? |

Re: Ask a retired SB/FL anything 😛
I ever once met a FL i had engaged quite a few times at a hawker centre about 10 years ago. At first I couldn't stop looking at her direction to confirm. But she was with her family. I guess she saw me looking at her table constantly and came over to say hi and break the awkwardness. I just exchange pleasantries and quickly cut the conversation by saying see her next time, so as not to arouse any suspicion to her family members. (Wonder how she is doing now?)

Moving forward would be the better option. Me too would never probe or invade his privacy and space. Everybody has their own little secrets. We should always respect that . You chose the current person, then be present at the moment..

Re: Ask a retired SB/FL anything 😛
Hi Ponybabe, was it easy or difficult to disassociate love and sex? I'm sure you would have started with the mentality that it's just a job, but were there times when you had really nice clients who ticked all the boxes for you? Maybe a tinge of "what if ...?"

A professional will always separate it. Because the consequences is just too much to bear. True?
