I'm planning to spend several days in Kiev next year myself. This year no chance to travel to Europe during the summer/autumn months. Instead I'll save up for next year.

TripAdvisor has a few threads on Kiev, the recommended area to stay is around Universytet, Zoloti vorota and Khreshchatyk stations as that area is the tourist area (which is safer and more friendly for English speakers) and also because many foreign embassies are around that area, hence the police presence is higher.

NOW, for the women. First, some useful links:

https://thisistrouble.com/2016/11/20...fe-in-ukraine/
https://www.slavic-companions.com/co...ease-sex-clubs

Escorts are a mixed bag. From the forums I've read, some advocate approaching women on the street around the universities (for the skilled pick-up artists) or hit the strip clubs (do your research as some strip clubs allow you to take the girls back to your hotel room, whereas some don't). I've yet to find a reliable listing of hookers/escorts in Kiev, which is frustrating as I know there is one somewhere.

As for daily costs, Ukrainian Hryvnia exchange rates are like Thai THB. Avoid restaurants around the tourist area if you can, and stick to places like Musafir or Puzata Hata. Decent meals can be had for as low as SG$3 or SG$5 if you are careful. Trip Advisor has a good list of budget eats here: https://www.tripadvisor.com.au/Resta...fp16-Kiev.html

If you do pick up a Ukrainian gal, they typically demands to be taken to an upmarket restaurant (prob becos it's a rare chance for them).

As for groceries, just avoid the 'Le Silpo' supermarket in Arena City, as they charge 'tourist prices' there. Other supermarkets elsewhere will be cheaper. Also you'll notice imported beers and alcohol are much more expensive than local brands.
