For me, I have around 15, age from 35-60+. we chiong whenever we have time, we meet up n drink kopi at night time, we went oversea n do charity work together... I'm really honor to have u guys as real friends now..:)

So emo now :D What u mentioned are, friends whom have common activities/interests.

A real friend is someone who stands by u when u need them the most. In life, there are only a few real friends but a lot of friends with common interest or herb behavior.

A simple finance problem can test who is a real friend. :D

Oii.. no need to be so complicated la... To me, as long as we r happy going out together, that will consider as friends.. just like u n me, I belanja u drink kopi, u belanja me drink 380bht tower of beer...sometime u pay more n sometime I pay more.. that is good enough...

NV become business partner with friends (my opinion)

Many ppl always pop out this question of how many friends will help u when u in deep shit. So how many friends u willingly to share your wealth when u become rich??
Whenever friends talk about money, relationship will break.. :)
I rather go borrow from loanshark than asking friends haha.. at least I don't owe loanshark a favour cause I pay them interest.. juz my own opinion, u don't have to learn from me ok hahaha

It depends on a person's character. Some people have 2,000 friends on facebook. Some have 100. I belong to the latter. Have 1 friend on sbf. Correspond often but don't meet. But of my few real friends, don't say money. Each will part with an arm or a leg for me should I get into trouble. Its easy to make friends. Go drink, cheong, party etc. Who cannot? To become brothers, there are only a select few. For me, with whatever little time I can spare outside my precious family time, I rather spend it with genuine bros. There is just my personal choice - no right or wrong answer.

the reason i am still friends with some of my poly mates is that i have never brought up the issue of money throughout our friendship.

In the first place, money should never be in the equation when it comes to friends. I remember i got a so called friend once that always ask me to invest in forex telling me how much of $$$ he can generate for me per month. I say straight in his face. If u believe in ur money making ability so much, get ur own parents to mortgage their house and use that sum of money to generate more money for them. Thereafter i never hear from him again. Good riddance to bad GARBAGE.

If making friends is about getting some benefits from them best to just get lost. Coz the main purpose of friends is to offer emotional support not monetary support. :p
