Is condom really safe enough?
 

That day Sam said condom is still not safe, some virus or bacteria could still penetrate through the condom and make you sick, is it true?

It is 99.9% safe. Have been using condoms on more than 100 prostitutes during the past twenty years and so touch wood no problem at all.

I said nothing of the sort!:mad: What I said was that Herpes and Genital Warts are transmitted by skin to skin contact via areas which are not covered by the condom... eg the base of the penis and the scrotum.

Condoms also break, especially if they have not been stored properly, have expired, are damaged by sharp objects (teeth/fingernails) or are not put on correctly.. (eg.. failure to expel air at the tip of the condom)

It's not that the virus can penetrate the condom. It's that the chances or risk is there that the condom might break, thus virus being able to reach you.

Some STDs can be spread from places that aint protected by any barrier. Such as frenching with someone that have STDs in their mouth.

Yeh man, not 100% protected... :( The risks are always there.

Bro, if "some other virus " can penetrate through the condom as what you have assumed, then what other bacteria could not penetrate ??:confused:
